Detailed information about the US Christian School Pension Plan
Important plan changes
Based on the recommendations of our Pension Task Force, the US Pension Plan is undergoing a soft freeze as of July 1, 2018. This means no new employee enrollments in the plan will be accepted after June 30. On September 1, 2019, a hard freeze will go into effect, and accrual of new benefits will discontinue. This does not represent the end of the plan. The plan will continue to operate; however, active participants and participants on disability leave will stop accruing new benefits. In other words, participants cannot make contributions to the plan on or after the freeze date.
